Kim Junsu will hold a ballad concert in Japan this March.
His agency CJeS Entertainment said “The concert is the Japanese version of Kim’s annual ballad and musical concert at the end of the year. ‘2016 XIA THE BEST BALLAD SPRING TOUR CONCERT vol.2 in JAPAN’ will take place in Nagoya and Tokyo, Japan. Kim will spend his spring time with 30,000 local fans.”
Since 2012, Kim Junsu held ballad and musicals concert at the end of every year. He set its brand as an annual event and continuously met his fans through the concert. In May 2014, he hosted ‘Best Ballad Concert Tour’ in Tokyo and Osaka and gathered 60,000 fans. He decided to hold a concert again in Japan because there were numerous requests for his revisit
In 2015, Deathnote, a musical based on Japanese manga series, was remade in Korean. Kim played the role of ‘L’, one of the major characters and showed off his explosive voice and outstanding acting and received much interest from Japanese fans and press. He is also popular as a musical actor among his Japanese fans.
An official from his agency said “There are many foreign fans who visit Korea to watch his musical and see his concert. Fans are waiting for him to perform in Japan. Through ballad and musical concert, he shows a different side of him from his album tour by singing the major numbers from the musicals he played in, Japanese ballad songs and OST. It will be a great gift to the fans who awaits his concert in spring.”
Meanwhile, Kim Junsu’s concert 2016 XIA THE BEST BALLAD SPRING TOUR CONCERT vol.2 in JAPANwill take place at Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan on March 15 and 16, and at Internatioanl Forum A Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
